1hr to go – a quick update on the Localism Bill
We’ve been running a *LIVE* blog throughout today scooping up opinion from a representative mix of the most prominent tweeting councillors, journalists and analysts (and Eric Pickles) from around England and Wales. So far it’s gone really well – we’ve had lots of hits, comments and queries for more information – all of which clearly demonstrates that people are switched on to what’s happening in councils.
The bill is due at 3.30 and with #localism trending since 11.30(ish) it looks like a lot of eyes will be on Pickles when he stands at the dispatch box. As soon as we see the bill LGIU will be tweeting out line-by-line analysis.
